Tree Pittsburgh is looking for a dedicated part-time Tree Nursery Volunteer.  This volunteer position would be great for someone who is looking for more tree propagation knowlege, and who enjoys working outdoors, and could be used for internship credit if necessary.

Tree Pittsburgh’s nursery program is designed to address the issue of urban forest biodiversity by providing a more diverse tree stock to use in local tree planting and ecosystem restoration efforts. Additionally, by growing the trees locally with volunteers, we will have access to more affordable trees strengthening our capacity to plant more trees well into the future.  Learn more about our Tree Nursery here.  The Tree Nursery is in its second year and has developed a lot in that time: The Post-Gazette recently covered some of the great developments there.
