Don't Buy Cypress Mulch
Don't Buy Cypress Mulch!
Cypress mulch is created by cutting down Bald Cypress trees in swamps along the Gulf Coast in states like Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. These forested swamps are extremely important in creating a natural buffer along the Gulf Coast that absorbs hurricanes when they hit the coast. With the removal of the coastal swamps and the trees that help to hold them together, hurricanes have more devastating effects on the coast and the communities who live there.
